Diffusing Agressive and Assaultive Behavior
|
|
As healthcare providers we are never far from the potential of managing aggressive behavior in today’s society. Any situation, if not handled sensitively enough can escalate. The best crisis intervention is oftentimes virtually invisible. When we utilize proper precautions and skillful interventions, the anger that would have otherwise followed does not emerge, and the outcome can be a win/win for both our patients and we as caregivers. This class can be useful for all classifications of healthcare workers.
